Cons:

In the world we live in today, many professions are changing rapidly due to the development of artificial intelligence. Nevertheless, as these new robots and computers are doing more and more of the work, what will we do? And how do we feel when we are going to lose our jobs?

First of all, the purpose of life is to work and to reproduce. As robots take over most of the work for us. What will be left for us to do? This isn’t such an issue yet, but sooner or later more than 70% of our jobs will be done by these almost human-like creatures. When we don’t have to get up and get to work in the mornings, what will we work on all day long? Free time is great, but only for a small amount of time. At the moment when we don’t have to work anymore, we are going to have to spend our time differently. This is going to be really hard on the majority of people, since they are devoted to work.

Also, in the present day, you work and you earn money. When the robots work, who will get their wages? Most likely, the owners and creators of these machines will. The people will earn lots of money and possess nearly all of the wealth. Then, how will other citizens earn money and provide for their families?

Lastly, how should we treat the robots? Will the robot be given the same rights the human specie has? This is extremely important to know. It might happen that both robots and humans are in danger, but who should be saved first? When both have the same rights, you can’t save the person first and leave the robot behind. This should be thought about. What is more important to us nowadays? Technology or human lives?
